Carstens Realty

Carstens Realty, a family-owned and operated business was incorporated in 1975 and is located in San Mateo, CA. The corporation was founded by Alf Carstens and was headed by his three children; Linda Hall, Carla Carstens, and Chris Carstens. It is now headed by Chris Carstens and his sons Ken Carstens and Casey Carstens.

The Centers operated by Carstens Realty are located in the San Francisco Bay Area (San Mateo and Walnut Creek, CA) and are mostly anchored by a super market and/or drug store with gross leasable areas between 100,000 to 125,000 square feet. The company specializes in the management of neighborhood shopping centers and continues to look for new acquisitions of shopping centers similar to those currently owned.

Carstens Realty also owns and operates apartments in San Mateo located near West Hillsdale Blvd and Highway 92. The Laurelwood Shopping Center is conveniently located across the street from the apartments for all your shopping needs.
